We knew that some of the bosses past Gorefiend in heroic mode would be tough as in some cases we had been a "little lax" on learning proper tactics in the normal modes; This was done either in the interest of expediency, or just because some abilities were not that bad in normal. We knew that Socrethar was just such a boss where our normal mode strategy would need to be changed to get a heroic kill. We discussed within the team, read up a bit, and adapted things a lot from our normal strategy to come up with a working heroic mode strategy that would allow us to handle the first phase better, transition between phases safely and also handle the adds and debuffs all at the same time - Eventually after a couple of nights of practice it all really clicked and we got our much deserved kill
